Built as a permanent structure in the 1950s for the State Singing Convention, the "Grove" has become a central park for families to enjoy throughout the year. The stage and picnic shelter is utilized for concerts, family birthdays and reunions, and a host of public events. The playground equipment is a favorite afternoon treat for families with small children and is open to the public.

Open May to September, this lake offers outdoor adventure including swimming, hiking, and an annual Trithalon Event.

  • Enjoy a spring fed lake with sandy beaches, beach volleyball, rope swings, 4 acres of shaded picnic area with grills and tables, bath house, jungle gym playground, soft play water toys, kid slides, and a 167ft twisting and turning waterslide for tons of fun!
  • Guests may bring chairs, rafts, food and drinks (no glass or alcoholic beverages allowed).
  • Snack bar is available for short order foods, as well as to purchase floats, suntan lotion, etc.
  • No pets allowed.
  • Paddleboats, kayaks, and canoes available for rent.
